]]>Downtown Northwest Indiana just got an upgrade! Located in Indiana's Lake County, Whitcomb Terrace is now managed by Marquette Management. Situated off the Lincoln Highway, our apartment homes at Whitcomb Terrace offer incredibly close proximity to some of the best shopping, dining, and entertainment options in Merrillville, Indiana, including highly accessible options for partaking in the upcoming Fourth of July celebrations.
As the Fourth of July draws ever closer, our residents at Whitcomb Terrace will be pleased to know that there are events sprawled across Merrillville that offer spectacular views of the annual fireworks tradition. Because of Whitcomb Terrace’s close location to the highway that runs across Merrillville, anyone staying at our luxury apartment homes with an itch for fireworks can easily visit any of the multiple spots around the area with ease.
Primarily, most of the surrounding area celebrates the Fourth of July over at the annual Ross Township July 4th celebration. Located at the nearby Hidden Lake Park, the Ross Township celebration is only minutes away and is a great occasion to join your loved ones as you celebrate Independence Day in comfort and excitement. Guests can attend their annual Independence Day festival on July 3rd, as their gates open to the public as early as 1pm in the afternoon. Our residents will be glad to know that from 1pm all the way to 11pm in the evening, you’ll be able to enjoy festivities such as live music from local bands, multiple food vendors, and even a beer garden. Their spectacular fireworks show shall then commence at 9pm the evening of the 3rd, offering spectators jaw-dropping sights of their annually prepared arsenal of explosive fireworks, and setting off the Fourth of July with a dazzling display in the night sky.
Alternatively, our residents can also opt to visit nearby Schererville for an earlier celebration of Independence on July 2nd at their event in Rohrman Park. Further down south, Cedar Lake is hosting an event titled “Fireworks on the Lake at Cedar Lake Summerfest”, a 4-day event spanning July 2nd to July 5th that also showcases an impressive fireworks show at 9pm on the 3rd of July.
